Foreclosure Crisis: Stabilizing Neighborhoods
Emerging Issues and Trends/Building Economically
and Fiscally Fit Cities
In the aftermath of legislation to stabilize the home
mortgage and credit market crises, local government
leaders need up-to-the-minute information about
progress or problems associated with these proposed
solutions. This program will explore conditions on the
ground in cities and towns, specific details about federal solutions (such as the Neighborhood Stabilization Program), and the interconnections between action steps
to mitigate the impacts of foreclosures and local initiatives
to end homelessness.
